Here at Hungerford Primary Academy we have created a service that supports school in transforming the lives and educational opportunities for the most at-risk and vulnerable learners, and enable them to succeed at least in-line with the peers. This is known as a Primary Education Reintegration Service (PERS), but here at Hungerford, we call it The Crescent.
We work with students from across Cheshire East; they may have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from their home schools. Depending on their age and need, they attend on either a full-time or part-time basis at Key Stages 1 & 2 for a fixed period of time. This time period is based around a six-week block, and is flexible (can be reduced or extended as appropriate).
We bring about a rapid and very positive transformation in children’s attitude to school, increase their confidence and their willingness to work hard and achieve.

The Crescent Brochure
Below is our brochure, it gives an overview of what we offer as a service and a taste of the activities on offer to the children who attend.
If you would like to refer a child to come and work with us at The Crescent the next step is to contact us and we can discuss the needs and circumstance of the child in question. Call us on the Hungerford telephone number (01270 685090) or email
