Welcome to Year Six 2018-19!
The Year Six Class Teachers are Miss Sadler and Miss Bevington.
We will be supported by Mrs Ellam, Miss Frost, Mrs Lysons and Mrs Walkley.
Year Six are lucky to have brand new classrooms! Children use door D to enter and exit their classroom.

Marle Hall Residential - Wednesday 5th September- Friday 7th September.
SATs - Week commencing Monday 13th May 2019. Writing assessment will take place until the end of June 2019.
Our topic for the Autumn Term will be 'Groovy Greeks!'.
Our topic for the Spring term will be 'Inventors and Inventions'.
Our topic for the Summer term will be 'Extreme Earth' where we will have a Geography focus.

These are Autumn 1 spellings that will be handed out in the second week in September, once we have returned from Marle Hall.
Below, is the glossary of terms used in Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar, in order to support your child at home. The document shows the progression from Years 1-6.
Please also find the reading gems that we use within school. Please use the 'Key Stage Two' gems. Each gem represents a different content domain (reading objective) and each has a range of question stems. Please support your child when reading at home by using these so that they are able to answer questions confidently.
