Inclusion Policy

Definition of Inclusion

Inclusion is an on-going process that celebrates diversity and involves the identification and minimising of barriers to learning and participation that may be experienced by any pupil, irrespective of age, ability, gender, ethnicity, language and social background. Inclusion is the maximising of resources to reduce these barriers to learning and participation.

All teachers are responsible for ensuring the needs of individual pupils in their class are met.
